DIY: Do It Yourself!

Finding the tools to develop your OWN practice!

One of the keys for unlocking the true power of the yoga asanas, for me has been the development of my own practice.

At the start I found even the thought of it really intimidating, how would I remember the sequence, how would I know the next pose, would I do it right…and then I realized it doesn’t actually matter, as it is YOUR practice.

It is not an exam that someone is assessing, it’s your time on your mat, and that is about all the pressure you need to apply to it.

The thought process was really helped by a book called:  The Book of Yoga Self Practice, by Rebecca Anderton Davies. This book simplified everything for me and focused my attention on the sun salutations and the linking to a sequence.

Several other books later and a multitude of self-lead practices, I love listening to my own body and fathoming my movements from there!

Being a busy working mum, it means that even if I can only afford twenty minutes on the mat, or that time is flooded with wails of Mama…’I need or I want.’, I can navigate it all and find my way back to a flow simply and easily!

In between the mama chaos, find your flow!

Let me perfect your sun salutations and you can then unlock your own practice and face the busy Mama bear 🐻 music and Dance 💃🏼!
